Personal Injury Law: What to do if you Suspect a Concussion Personal Injury

Concussions are medically classified as a “mild form of traumatic brain injury.” And while concussions are not often life threatening, the media is raising awareness of how the injury can negatively affect the victim’s quality of life in a drastic way.

Football and other contact sports are often cited in headlines as common causes for concussions. Other frequent causes of concussions include falls, car wrecks, assaults and unintentionally being hit by a heavy object. A single heavy blow can cause a concussion, as well as the head moving rapidly back and forth.
